As part of the Leicestershire & Rutland “Festival of Archaeology” taking place in July and August, Whitwick Historical Group have organised a guided walk around Whitwick. This will take place on Sunday 12th July at 2pm. It will start and finish at the Old Station, North Street, Whitwick, LE67 5HA. We will follow a route around the village on pavements. Some parts are steep. Cost is £4 per person, to include light refreshments. There will also be an opportunity to look around our unique Victorian building and archives.
